Hadith 17775
١٧٧٧٥ - حدثنا عفان عن حماد بن سلمة عن علي بن زيد عن الحسن: ﴿وَلَا أَنْ تَبَدَّلَ بِهِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجٍ﴾، قال: (قصره) (١) اللَّه على نسائه التسع اللاتي مات عنهن.
Hazrat Hasan says that in the verse of the Holy Qur'an { وَلاَ أَنْ تَبَدَّلَ بِہِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجٍ }, Allah Almighty limited His Prophet to those nine women in whose presence he passed away. Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) bin Zaid says that I told this to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) bin Husain, so he said that the Prophet ﷺ was still permitted to marry after that.
