Hadith 17685
١٧٦٨٥ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن ابن عون عن ابن سيرين عن عبيدة في قوله: ﴿وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا عَرَّضْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَاءِ﴾، قال: (يذكرها) (١) إلى وليها ولا (يشعرنّها) (٢).
Hazrat Ubaidah, regarding the verse of the Holy Qur'an { وَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَیْکُمْ فِیمَا عَرَّضْتُمْ بِہِ مِنْ خِطْبَۃِ النِّسَائِ }: "And there is no blame upon you for proposing marriage to women," states that he will mention it to the woman's guardian and will not speak to the woman herself.
