Hadith 17626
١٧٦٢٦ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن علقمة قال: سأله رجل عن (رجل فجر بامرأة) (١)، (أيتزوجها) (٢)؟ قال: نعم! وتلا هذه الآية: ﴿(وَ) (٣) هُوَ الَّذِي يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ (وَيَعْفُو عَنِ السَّيِّئَاتِ) (٤)﴾.
Ibrahim narrates that a person asked Hazrat Alqama whether it is permissible if someone commits adultery with a woman and then marries her. He replied, "Yes," and then recited this verse of the Holy Qur'an: "Allah accepts the repentance of His servants and forgives their mistakes."
