Hadith 17397
١٧٣٩٧ - حدثنا الضحاك بن مخلد عن ابن جريج عن عطاء في رجل زوج أباه وهو غائب ولم يرض الأب قال: الصداق على الابن فإن زوج الأب الابن فلم يرض الابن فالصداق على الأب.
Hazrat Ata says that if a person arranged the marriage of his father while the father was not present, then if the father does not consent, the dowry will be obligatory upon the son. And if the father arranged the marriage of the son and the son does not consent, then the dowry will be obligatory upon the father.
