في الرجل يزوج الرجل فينكر، ما حال الصداق؟Ruling on Dowry if the Groom Refuses After Another Arranged the Marriage
Hadith 17396
١٧٣٩٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن إسرائيل عن جابر عن عامر في رجل كتب إلى أبيه أو إلى مولاه أدى يزوجه فزوجه فجاء فأنكر عليه، قال الشعبي: (إن) (١) أجاز الزوج النكاح فهو جائز وإدى لم يجز (هـ) (٢) فليس بشيء وليس على واحد منهما صداق إن لم يكن دخل بها.
Hazrat Aamir says that if a person wrote a letter to his father or guardian asking him to arrange his marriage, and they arranged the marriage, but he refused, then regarding this Hazrat Sha’bi used to say that if the husband maintains the marriage, it is fine, otherwise this marriage has no validity. And before the consummation of marriage, no dowry (mahr) will be obligatory on anyone.
