في الرجل (يكون) له المرأة (فتقول): اقسم ليRuling if a Woman Asks Her Husband Not to Divorce Her and Waives Her Rights
Hadith 17273
١٧٢٧٣ - حدثنا عبد الوهاب عن أيوب عن محمد عن (عبيدة) (١) قال: (سألته) (٢) عن هذه الآية: ﴿وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِنْ بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا﴾ قال: هو (الرجل) (٣) تكون له المرأة قد خلا من (سنها) (٤) فيصالحها (من حقها على شيء) (٥) فهو له ما رضيت (فإذا) (٦) كرهت (فلها أن يعدل عليها) (٧) أو يرضيها (من) (٨) حقها أو يطلقها.
Muhammad says that I asked Hazrat Ubaidah about this verse of the Holy Qur'an: "If a woman fears ill-treatment or aversion from her husband..." (etc). He replied that this verse was revealed about a man who has a wife and wants to leave her, but she reconciles with him on the condition that she will forgo her right. And if the woman is not willing to forgo her right, then she may either take her full right or get a divorce from him.
