Hadith 17139
١٧١٣٩ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أنا حماد بن سلمة (١) عن عبد الكريم ⦗٢٦٢⦘ (عن عبد اللَّه) (٢) بن (عبيد) (٣) (بن) (٤) عمير عن ابن عباس قال: جاء (رجل) (٥) إلى (النبي) (٦) ﷺ فقال: إن عندي امرأة أحب الناس إلي وإنها لا تمنع يد لامس قال: "طلقها" قال: لا أصبر عنها قال: "فاستمتع بها" (٧).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that once a man came to the service of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and said, "I have a wife whom I love more than anyone else, but she is not of upright character. What is the ruling for me regarding her?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Divorce her." The man said, "I cannot live without her." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Then continue to benefit from her."
