Hadith 16746
١٦٧٤٦ - حدثنا يحيى بن آدم قال: نا يونس بن أبي إسحاق قال: نا أبو بردة قال: قال أبو موسى: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "تستأمر اليتيمة في نفسها، فإن سكتت فقد أذنت، وإن أنكرت لم تنكح" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The permission of an orphan girl will be sought from her heart; if she remains silent, then that is her permission, and if she refuses, then her marriage will not be arranged.
