Hadith 16653
١٦٦٥٣ - (حدثنا) (١) أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن عمارة بن عمير عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد عن عبد اللَّه قال: قال لنا رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "يا معشر الشباب من استطاع منكم الباءة فليتزوج فإنه (أغض للبصر) (٢) وأحصن للفرج، ومن لم يستطع فعليه بالصوم فإنه له وجاء" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O young people! Whoever among you has the means to marry, he should get married, for marriage lowers the gaze and protects the private parts. Whoever does not have the ability to marry should observe fasting continuously, for fasting will be a shield against sins.
