Hadith 16485
١٦٤٨٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن فضيل عن ابن أبي ليلى عن الحكم عن مقسم عن ابن عباس قال: لا ترفع الأيدي إلا في سبع (١) (مواطن) (٢): إذا قمت إلى الصلاة، وإذا جئت من بلد، وإذا رأيت البيت، وإذا قمت على الصفا والمروة، وبعرفات، وبجمع، وعند الجمار (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) states that hands should not be raised except in eight places: in the opening Takbeer (Takbeer Tahrima), when entering a city, when seeing the House of Allah (Ka'bah), when standing on Safa and Marwah, in Arafat, in Muzdalifah, and at the time of throwing pebbles at the Jamarat.
