متى يجب على الرجل الحج؟When Does Hajj Become Obligatory?
Hadith 16431
١٦٤٣١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن إبراهيم بن (يزيد) (١) عن محمد بن عباد بن جعفر عن ابن عمر قال: قام رجل إلى النبي ﷺ فقال: يا رسول اللَّه ما يوجب الحج؟ قال: "زاد وراحلة"، قال: يا رسول اللَّه فما الحاج؟ قال: "الشعث التفل"، قال فقال: يا رسول اللَّه فما أفضل الحج؟ قال: "العج والثج" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man stood before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! What makes Hajj obligatory?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Provision for the journey and a means of transport." The man asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! What is Hajj?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Becoming dusty and disheveled." The man asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Which Hajj is the best?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "The one in which Talbiyah is recited aloud and an animal is sacrificed."
