Hadith 16418
١٦٤١٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبيد اللَّه بن موسى عن عثمان عن عطاء قال: ليس على أهل مكة عمرة، إنما يعتمر من زار البيت (ليطوف) (١) به وأهل مكة يطوفون متى شاؤوا.
Hazrat Ata says that there is no ‘Umrah’ obligatory upon the residents of Makkah Mukarramah. ‘Umrah’ is performed by one who desires to visit the House of Allah and perform its circumambulation, whereas the residents of Makkah Mukarramah can perform circumambulation whenever they wish.
