Hadith 15813
١٥٨١٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حاتم عن جعفر عن أبيه عن جابر أن النبي ﷺ قال لعلي: "ما قلت حين فرضت الحج؟ " قال: قلت (اللهم) (١): إني أهل بما أهل به رسولك ﷺ (٢)، قال: "فإن معي الهدي فلا يحل منك حرام"، قال: فحل ⦗٥١٤⦘ الناس كلهم وقصروا، (إلا) (٣) النبي ﷺ (٤) ومن كان معه هدي (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): When you intended to perform Hajj, what did you say? Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: I said, "O Allah, I enter into Ihram with the same intention as Your Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Surely, I have the sacrificial animal with me, and whoever is in Ihram with the sacrificial animal should not come out of Ihram. The narrator says that all the people came out of Ihram and had their hair cut short except the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and those who had the sacrificial animal with them.
