Hadith 15674
١٥٦٧٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حاتم عن جعفر عن أبيه عن جابر أن النبي ﷺ رمل ثلاثًا ومشى أربعًا، ثم أتى مقام إبراهيم فقرأ: ﴿وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ ⦗٤٨٢⦘ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى﴾ [البقرة: ١٢٥]، فجعل المقام بينه وبين البيت، ثم رجع إلى الركن فاستلمه (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ramal in the first three circuits of tawaf and walked at his normal pace in the remaining four circuits. Then he came to Maqam Ibrahim and recited the verse of the Holy Qur'an { وَ اتَّخِذُوْا مِنْ مَّقَامِ اِبْرٰھٖمَ مُصَلًّی }, and placed Maqam Ibrahim between himself and the House of Allah (Baytullah) and (offered prayer). Then he came to the Rukn and performed istilam of it.
