Hadith 15384
١٥٣٨٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن عمارة أن شريحًا كان يشترط في الحج فيقول: إنك قد عرفت بنيتي وما أريد، فإن (كان) (١) أمرًا (أتممه) (٢) فهو أحب إليّ، وإن كان غير ذلك فلا حرج.
It is narrated from Hazrat Amarah that Hazrat Shurayh made a condition while reciting the Talbiyah for Hajj and prayed as follows: O Allah! Surely You know my intention and also that which I have intended, so if this matter is completed for me, then it is very beloved to me, and if there is any other matter besides this, then there is no harm in it. Abu Bakr says that it has reached me that Muawiyah had retracted from this hadith.
