Hadith 15375
١٥٣٧٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن فضيل عن هشام عن أبيه عن عائشة أنها قالت: إذا حججت فاشترط (قل) (١): اللهم الحج عمدت وإياه أردت فإن تيسر ⦗٤٢٣⦘ الحج فهو الحج وإن (٢) حبست فعمرة (٣).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that if you intend to perform Hajj, then say: O Allah, I intend to perform Hajj and this is my objective. Then, if Hajj becomes possible (easy) for him, he should perform Hajj, and if I am prevented due to illness (or any other reason), then Umrah is my objective.
