Hadith 15099
١٥٠٩٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن زياد بن الحصين عن أبي العالية عن ابن عباس قال: تمثل (هذا البيت) (١) وهو محرم، قال: وهن يمشين بنا هميسا … أن تصدق الطير (ننك لميسا) (٢) قال: فقيل له: تقول هذا وأنت محرم؟ فقال: إنما الفحش ما (وُوْجِه به) (٣) النساء وهم محرمون (٤).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) gave the example of this verse of poetry while in the state of Ihram: "They pass by us walking like a camel, if the bird speaks the truth then we sense someone familiar." It was said to him that you are uttering obscene words in the state of Ihram. He replied, "Obscene words are those by which women were addressed in the state of Ihram."
