في الرجل يشتري البدنة فتضل فيشتري غيرهاIf someone buys a camel and it gets lost, he should buy another in its place
Hadith 15045
١٥٠٤٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن عقيل بن طلحة عن أبي (الخصيب) (١) (القيسي) (٢) أنه أهدى عن أمه بدنة فأضلها فاشترى (مكانها) (٣) أخرى فقلدها، ثم وجد الأولى، فسأل ابن عمر، فقال: انحرهما جميعًا (٤).
Hazrat Abu Al-Khasib Al-Qaisi sent a sacrificial animal as Hadi on behalf of his mother, but it got lost on the way. He then bought another animal in its place and put a collar on it. Meanwhile, the first animal was also found. He asked Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about this. He replied: "Slaughter both of them."
