Hadith 14964
١٤٩٦٤ - [حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن فضيل عن عاصم قال: قلت لأبي العالية: تقرأ الحائض القرآن؟ قال: لا تقرأ القرآن ولا (تصلي) (١)، ولا تطوف بالبيت ولا بين الصفا والمروة، وقال: الطواف بين الصفا والمروة عدل الطواف بالبيت] (٢).
Hazrat Asim says that I asked Hazrat Abu Alia whether a menstruating woman can recite the Holy Quran? He replied that she can neither recite the Quran nor perform prayer, nor can she perform Tawaf, nor can she perform Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and he said that Sa'i is also like Tawaf.
