Hadith 14698
١٤٦٩٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن حجاج عن الحكم عن مجاهد قال: إنما سميت بكة؛ لأن الناس (يبك) (١) بعضهم بعضًا (فيها) (٢)، وإنه يحل فيها ما لا يحل في غيرها.
Hazrat Mujahid says that its name is Bakkah because here people push each other, and here things are permissible which are not permissible elsewhere.
