في الرجل إذا خرج إلي مكة فلا يقل: إني حاج وما يقولIf someone leaves Makkah, what should he say instead of declaring himself a pilgrim?
Hadith 14641
١٤٦٤١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن فضيل عن (العلاء) (١) بن المسيب (عن) (٢) خيثمة قال: قال عبد اللَّه: من أراد هذا الوجه فلا يقل إني حاج (إنما) (٣) الحاج المحرم، وليقل إني وافد (٤).
Hazrat Abdullah says that whoever intends to set out for Hajj should not say, "I am going to perform Hajj," because a Hajji is one who is in the state of Ihram. He should rather say, "I am a traveler, a seeker."
