Hadith 14624
١٤٦٢٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن علية عن أيوب عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: جاء رجل فقال: (يا) (١) رسول اللَّه من أين يهل؟ قال: "يهل أهل المدينة من (ذي) (٢) (الحُلَيْفَة) (٣) (و) (٤) أهل الشام من (الجحفة) (٥)، وأهل نجد من قرن" (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man came into the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! From where should we put on the Ihram? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The people of Madinah should put on Ihram from Dhu’l-Hulaifah, the people of Syria from Juhfah, and the people of Najd from Qarn. Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that they say the people of Yemen should put on Ihram from Yalamlam.
