١٣٩٨٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حماد بن مسعدة عن عيسى بن حفص عن عثمان بن عروة قال: كان عروة (يجمر) (١) ثيابه (عشاء) (٢) فلا يزال حتى يروح فيها المسجد ويحرم فيها، قال: وكان يرى لحانا تقطر من الغالية ونحن محرمون فلا ينكر (ذلك) (٣) علينا.
Hazrat Urwah would perfume his clothes with incense at night and would remain in those clothes; he would even go to the mosque in them and would don the ihram in those same clothes. The narrator says that drops of musk fragrance would be seen dripping from our beards while we were in the state of ihram, but he would not object to this.
