Hadith 1381
١٣٨١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص عن ابن جريج عن عطاء عن ابن عباس: أنه صنع هذه المطهرة، وقد علم أنه يتوضأ منها: الأسود والأبيض قال: وكان ينسكب من وضوء الناس في جوفها، فسألت عطاء فقال: لا بأس به (١).
Hazrat Ata narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) made a pool for ablution in the mosque. Although he knew that everyone would perform ablution from it. The water from people's ablution would also fall into that vessel. Hazrat Ibn Jurayj says that I asked Hazrat Ata about this, so he replied that there is no harm in it.
