Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ikrimah narrates that Hazrat Umm Habibah bint Jahsh experienced istihada (non-menstrual bleeding), so a question was asked about her to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said that she should keep track of her menstrual days; when those days have passed and she still sees something (bleeding), she should perform ablution, tie a cloth, and perform the prayer.
