Hadith 1355
١٣٥٥ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا الأعمش عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن عروة عن عائشة قالت: جاءت فاطمة ابنة أبي حبيش إلي النبي ﷺ فقالت: يا رسول اللَّه إني امرأة استحاض، فلا أطهر، أفادع الصلاة؟ قال: " (لا) (١)، إنما ذلك عرق، وليست بالحيضة. اجتنبي الصلاة أيام حيضك، ثم اغتسلي، وتوضئي لكل صلاة، ⦗٢٦٩⦘ ثم صلي، وإن قطر الدم على الحصير" (٢).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "I am a woman who suffers from prolonged bleeding and I do not become pure, so should I leave the prayer?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "This is blood from a vein, it is not menstruation. Leave the prayer during the days of menstruation, then perform ghusl and do wudu for every prayer, then keep offering the prayer even if the blood drips onto the mat."
