Hadith 13462
١٣٤٦٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن العمري عن نافع عن ابن عمر ⦗٤٩٤⦘ قال: قال (عمر) (١): إذا اعتمر في أشهر الحج ثم أقام فهو متمتع، فإن رجع فليس بمتمتع (٢).
Hazrat Umar says: Whoever performs Umrah during the months of Hajj, stays there, and then performs Hajj, he is considered to have performed Hajj Tamattu’. And whoever performs Umrah, returns home, and then goes again to perform Hajj, he will not be counted as one who performed Hajj Tamattu’.
