Hazrat Amir was asked about a person who made a vow that if he entered so-and-so's house, he would free two slaves from among the descendants of Ismail, and then he entered that person's house. He replied: There is no expiation upon him. The person said: I do not find these two (slaves). He replied: Then fast continuously for four months, two months of fasting for each slave; perhaps this may serve as some expiation.
