في الرجل يحلف ليضربن غلامه ما يجزئه من ذلك؟If someone swears to beat his slave, how much beating is sufficient?
Hadith 12793
١٢٧٩٣ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن سليمان الأحول عن أبي معبد عن ابن عباس قال: من حلف على ملك يمينه ليضربنه فكفارته تركه وله من الكفارة (حسنة) (١) (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) says that if a person swears that he will definitely beat his slave, then its expiation is not to do it, and for him, doing good is the expiation.
