It is narrated from Hazrat Kathir bin Nabatah that two brothers were partners with each other. One of them intended to separate from his brother and said, "If I do not separate from my brother, then every slave of mine is free." However, his mother ordered him not to separate from his brother. I asked Hasan, or he himself was listening to this matter, so he was questioned about it. He replied, "He should pay the expiation for his oath, maintain the ties of kinship, and remain a partner with his brother," or as he said.
