الندر إذا لم يسم له كفارةIf one makes a vow without naming it, is expiation required?
Hadith 12553
١٢٥٥٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عطاء عن سعيد بن جبير عن (ابن عباس) (١) قال: النذر إذا لم يسم أغلظ اليمين، وعليه أغلظ الكفارة (٢).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: When one does not mention the name of a vow (nazr), it is a severe oath, and upon it will be imposed the greatest (most severe) expiation among the expiations.
