Hadith 12451
١٢٤٥١ - حدثنا جعفر بن عون عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن عائشة (قالت) (١): جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ فقال: إن أمي (افتلتت) (٢) نفسها، وإنها لو تكلمت تصدقت، فهل (لها) (٣) من أجر إن تصدقت عنها؟ قال: "نعم" (٤).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that a man came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "My mother has passed away suddenly, and indeed, if she could speak, she would have given charity. If I give charity on her behalf now, will she receive the reward?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Yes."
