Hadith 12443
١٢٤٤٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن ابن أبي خالد عن عبد اللَّه البهي مولى آل الزبير أن أبا بكر جاء إلى النبي ﷺ بعدما قبض (فكشف) (١) عن وجهه (فأكب) (٢) عليه فقبله وقال: بأبي (أنت) (٣) وأمي ما [أطيب حياتك وأطيب (ميتتك) (٤)] (٥) (٦).
Hazrat Abdullah al-Bahi narrates that after the passing of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq came, removed the cloth from the face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), leaned over him and kissed him, and then said: "May my parents be sacrificed for you (peace and blessings be upon you), how pure was your life and how pure is your death."
