Hadith 12423
١٢٤٢٣ - حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا (سفيان) (١) عن الأسود بن قيس عن نبيح قال: سمعت أبا سعيد يقول: ما من جنازة إلا تناشد حملتها إن كانت مؤمنة (و) (٢) اللَّه عنها راض (قالت) (٣): أسرعوا بي، وإن كانت كافرة (و) (٤) اللَّه (عنها) (٥) ساخط ⦗٢٢٢⦘ قالت: ردوني. (فما) (٦) شيء (إلا) (٧) يسمعه إلا الثقلين، ولو سمعه الإنسان جزع (وفزع) (٨) (٩).
The Prophet (peace be upon him) says that I heard from Abu Sa'id, he says: There is no funeral except that it speaks to its bearers (makes a demand). If he is a believer and Allah Almighty is pleased with him, it says: "Take me quickly." And if he is a disbeliever and Allah Almighty is displeased with him, it says: "Take me back." Everything except jinn and humans hears its voice. If a human were to hear the voice, he would scream and (from screaming) become weak and frail.
