Hadith 12300
١٢٣٠٠ - حدثنا هشيم (أنا) (١) أشعث عن الشعبي قال: جاء قرظة بن كعب في رهط (معه) (٢) وقد صلى عليٌّ على ابن حنيف ودفن (٣) فأمره علي أن يصلي هو وأصحابه على القبر ففعل.
Hazrat Sha’bi narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him, may Allah honor his face) had performed the funeral prayer of Hazrat Ibn Haneef and buried him. Meanwhile, Qarzah bin Ka’b arrived with some companions. Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him, may Allah honor his face) instructed them that they and their companions should go to his grave and perform the funeral prayer. Accordingly, they did so.
