Hadith 12298
١٢٢٩٨ - حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن سعيد عن قتادة عن سعيد بن المسيب أن أم سعد بن عبادة ماتت وهو غائب فلما قدم أتى النبي ﷺ فقال: يا رسول اللَّه إني أحب أن تصلي على أم سعد، فأتى النبي ﷺ قبرها فصلى عليها] (١) (٢).
Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib narrates that Hazrat Umm Sa’d bin Ubadah passed away while the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was not present. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, they came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I wish that you would perform the funeral prayer for Umm Sa’d." So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to her grave and performed the funeral prayer.
