Hadith 12165
١٢١٦٥ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن حماد بن سلمة (عن) (١) علي بن (زيد) (٢) عن ربيعة بن (النابغة) (٣) عن أبيه عن علي قال: نهى رسول اللَّه ﷺ عن زيارة القبور ثم قال: "إني (كنت) (٤) نهيتكم عن زيارة القبور فزوروها تذكركم الآخرة" (٥).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him, may Allah honor his face) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) had forbidden visiting graves, then (later) he said: Indeed, I had forbidden you from visiting graves, now you may visit them, for it refreshes the remembrance of the Hereafter.
