Hadith 12110
١٢١١٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا هشيم قال: أخبرنا منصور عن الحسن قال: جعل في لحد رسول اللَّه ﷺ قطيفة حمراء كان أصابها يوم (خيبر) (١) قال: ⦗١٢١⦘ (فجعلوها) (٢) لأن المدينة أرض (سبخة) (٣) (٤).
Hasan narrates that a red velvet cloth was placed in the blessed grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which had come as booty from the Battle of Khaybar, because the soil of Madinah was salty and loose.
