في المرأة أين يقام منها في الصلاة والرجل أين يقام منهWhere should one stand for the funeral prayer of a woman and where for a man?
Hadith 11891
١١٨٩١ - حدثنا وكيع عن همام عن (غالب أو أبي) (١) غالب عن أنس أنه: أتي بجنازة رجل، فقام عند رأس السرير، وجيء بجنازة امرأة فقام أسفل من ذلك عند (الصدر) (٢)، فقال العلاء بن زياد: هكذا رأيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يصنع؟ قال: نعم، ثم أقبل علينا فقال: احفظوه (٣).
Hazrat Abu Al-Ghalib narrates that when the funeral of a man was brought to Hazrat Anas, he stood at the head of the bier, and when the funeral of a woman was brought, he stood at her chest. Hazrat Alaa bin Ziyad inquired, "Did you see the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) do the same?" He replied, "Yes." Then he turned towards us and said, "Remember this."
