Hadith 11598
١١٥٩٨ - حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن الزهري عن سعيد (عن) (١) أبي (هريرة) (٢) عن النبي ﷺ قال: "أسرعوا بالجنازة فإن تكُ صالحة فخير تقدمونها اليه، وإن تك غير ذلك فشر تضعونه عن رقابكم" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Take the funeral quickly (towards the graveyard), for if it is righteous, then that to which you are taking it is better for it. And if it is otherwise, then you are quickly removing evil from your necks.
