١١٥٢٩ - حدثنا عبد الوهاب الثقفي عن أيوب عن أبي قلابة قال: كنا في جنازة فرفع ناس من القصاص أصواتهم فقال أبو قلابة: كانوا يعظمون الميت بالسكينة.
Ayyub narrates that we were attending a funeral, and some of the storytellers among the people raised their voices. So Hazrat Abu Qilabah said: Those people (the Companions) used to remain silent out of respect for the deceased.
