Hadith 11496
١١٤٩٦ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم قال: كانوا إذا كانت جنازة امرأة أكفوا السرير فجافوا عنها بقوائمه وإذا كان رجل وضع على بطن السرير.
Ibrahim says that when carrying the bier of a woman, men should place supports under the bier to create a gap between themselves and the bier. There is no need to do this for a man's bier; rather, he should be placed in the middle of the bier.
