ما جاء في ثواب عيادة المريضReward for Visiting the Sick
Hadith 11145
١١١٤٥ - حدثنا هشيم عن عبد الحميد بن جعفر عن عمر بن الحكم بن ثوبان عن جابر بن عبد اللَّه قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "من عاد مريضًا لم يزل يخوض في الرحمة حتى يجلس، فإذا جلس اغتمس فيها" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a person visits a sick person, he remains continuously in mercy until he sits down. And when he sits down, he immerses himself in that mercy.
