Hadith 11115
١١١١٥ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن علقمة بن مرثد عن القاسم بن مخيمرة عن عبد اللَّه (بن) (١) عمرو قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: " (ما من أحد) (٢) من المسلمين يبتلى ببلاء في جسده إلا أمر اللَّه الحفظة فقال: اكتبوا لعبدي ما كان يعمل وهو صحيح ما (دام) (٣) مشدودًا في (وثاقي) (٤) " (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whenever any Muslim is afflicted with any hardship, Allah Almighty commands the angels. Then Allah Almighty says: Write for My servant the deeds which he used to do when he was in a state of health (and now cannot do because of illness), as long as he is bound in My chain.
