Hadith 11078
١١٠٧٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: (حدثنا) (١) محمد بن بشر العبدي قال: (حدثنا) (٢) هشام بن (سعد) (٣) قال: حدثني عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده قال: قال رجل: يا رسول اللَّه ما كان في الطريق (غير الميتاء) (٤) أو القرية المسكونة، قال: "فيه وفي الركاز الخمس" (٥).
Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father and grandfather that a man asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah! What is the ruling regarding something we find on deserted roads and uninhabited places (such as villages, etc.)?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is a fifth (khums) in it, as there is in buried treasure."
