ما قالوا في الفقراء والمساكين من همWho Are the Poor and the Needy?
Hadith 10899
١٠٨٩٩ - حدثنا أبو خالد عن جرير بن حازم عن علي بن (الحكم) (١) قال: (سمعت) (٢) الضحاك بن مزاحم يقول: ﴿إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ﴾ [التوبة: ٦٠]، قال: الفقراء الذين هاجروا والمساكين الذين لم يهاجروا.
Hazrat Ma'qil says that I asked Hazrat Imam Zuhri who are meant by {إنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَائِ }? He replied: The poor (fuqara) are those who stay in their homes and do not ask anyone, and the needy (masakeen) are those who go out of their homes and ask.
