Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Usman bin Abu Usman says that I asked Hazrat Qasim bin Muhammad: Some of my debt is for a fixed term and some is not for a fixed time, so should we pay zakat on it? He replied, "Yes." Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) instructed us that whatever is in the sea, zakat is due on it. The narrator says that I asked Hazrat Salim the same question, and he also gave the same answer.
