Hadith 10535
١٠٥٣٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن (مغيرة) (١) عن إبراهيم قال: لينظر ما كان عليه من دين فليعزله، ومن كان له من دين (ثقة) (٢) فليزكه. [و (ما) (٣) كان لا يستقر يعطيه اليوم و (يأخذ) (٤) إلى يومين فليزكه] (٥).
Ibrahim says that if a person is in debt, he should deduct the debt from the zakat. And if a trustworthy person is to repay his debt, then he should include the amount of that debt and give zakat. If a procrastinating person is to repay the debt, even then he should give zakat on it.
