Hadith 10101
١٠١٠١ - حدثنا خالد بن مخلد قال: حدثنا ثابت (بن) (١) قيس عن خارجة بن إسحاق عن عبد الرحمن بن جابر بن عبد اللَّه عن أبيه قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "سيأتيكم ركب مبغضون، فإن جاؤوكم فرحبوا بهم وخلوا بينهم وبين ما ⦗١٥٣⦘ (يبغون) (٢)، فإن عدلوا فلأنفسهم، وإن ظلموا فعليهم، وأرضوهم (فإن تمام زكاتكم رضاهم) (٣) وليدعوا لكم" (٤).
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his father that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon, disliked riders will come to you, but when they come to you (to collect zakat), welcome them and make things easy for them, and leave among them that thing in which they exceed. So if they act justly, it is for their own selves, and if they act unjustly, then its burden is upon them. And you should try to please them; indeed, the completion of your zakat depends on their satisfaction, and they should also supplicate for you.
