ما قالوا في منع الزكاةWarnings regarding neglecting zakah
Hadith 10093
١٠٠٩٣ - (حدثنا) (١) وكيع قال: حدثنا زكريا بن إسحاق المكي قال: (حدثني) (٢) يحيى بن عبد اللَّه بن صيفي عن أبي معبد مولى ابن عباس (عن) (٣) ابن عباس عن معاذ قال: بعثني رسول اللَّه ﷺ فقال: "إنك تأتي قومًا من أهل الكتاب فادعهم إلى شهادة أن لا إله إلا اللَّه وأني رسول اللَّه، فإن هم (أطاعوك) (٤) (بذلك) (٥) فأعلمهم أن اللَّه افترض عليهم خمس صلوات في كل يوم وليلة، فإن هم (أطاعوك) (٦) (بذلك) (٧) فأعلمهم أن اللَّه (افترض) (٨) عليهم صدقة (في ⦗١٥٠⦘ أموالهم) (٩) (تؤخذ) (١٠) من أغنيائهم (١١) فترد (على) (١٢) فقرائهم، فإن هم (أطاعوك) (١٣) (بذلك) (١٤) (فإياك) (١٥) وكرائم أموالهم، واتق دعوة المظلوم، فإنها ليس بينها وبين (اللَّه) (١٦) حجاب" (١٧).
It is narrated from Hazrat Mu'adh bin Jabal that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me (to Yemen), he said to me: Surely, you will come to a people from among the People of the Book, so invite them to testify that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah. If they accept this, then inform them that Allah has made five prayers obligatory upon them in the day and night. If they accept this, then inform them that Allah has made zakat obligatory upon their wealth, to be taken from their rich and given to their poor. If they accept this, then beware of taking the best and most valuable of their wealth, and protect yourself from the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.
